Filmed with a live audience at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, this concert will illuminate your holiday experience with timeless carols, treasured Christmas songs, and a story of heroic service.

This Christmas, the world-renowned Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square joins with Tony Award®-winner Ruthie Ann Miles and Hollywood veteran Dennis Haysbert in the unforgettable holiday spectacular, “Hope of the Season.” Packed with classic carols, holiday favorites and an inspirational portrait of real life, this 90-minute concert features songs and stories of hope for audiences of all ages. Filmed in 2024 and released in 2025.

This December, the beloved annual “Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir” special returns to PBS. Tony® Award-nominated performer Megan Hilty and well-known film and television actor Neal McDonough join the iconic 500-person Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in a soulful celebration of the season. McDonough and Hilty, who each share Irish heritage and traditions, join the Choir and Orchestra, trumpeters and bell ringers in delivering a deeply personal program that weaves together well-known holiday tunes, classic Christmas carols and hymns with some traditional Irish musical numbers.

Lee Groberg, the producer/director of PBS documentaries such as, "An American Prophet: The Story of Joseph Smith", and "Trail of Hope: The Story of the Mormon Trail", has turned his focus to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Walter Cronkite narrates, telling the fascinating story of the Choir's origins and history to the present day. Includes concert performances by the Choir.
